Technology, Minna Libraries was established in February 1983. It consists of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida library at
the Gidan Kwano Campus and Awwal Ibrahim library, in Bosso Campus.The library
has expanded in conformity with the general expansion of the University. The
main library serves the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology,
School of Engineering and Engineering Technology, School of Entrepreneurship
And Management Technology, School of Environmental Technology, School of Information and Communication Technology. Bosso campus library serves the School of School of
life Sciences, school of physical sciences and School of Technology Education. The objectives of the University
Library naturally derive from those of the University it serves. Briefly, the
library exists to provide a variety of resources, book and non-book alike and
ancillary services that support and extend the University’s programmes of
instruction and research. In its attempt to achieve the above goal, the library
sets out deliberately to:
1. Ensure a high degree of
relevance of its collection to the needs of the University community;
2. Ensure that maximum use is made of the resources and facilities it provides;
3. Give qualitative reference and information service to its clients;
4. Join its staff with their teaching colleagues in making the use of its resources an integral part of the educational process.
